Ferryhill Primary School boasts one of the most multi-cultural intakes in the North East. It is also a school that enjoys the ongoing support of Oil operators Talisman. To help raise funds for the school it was decided to promote the rich cultural diversity of the school though the production of a book of poems all centred around shoes from each culture and the personal experiences of these pupils coming to a new country. The pupils worked closely with our design team and the final book is a stunning example of great collaboration, design and wonderfully creative content. The Art Department supported this initiative and were delighted to have been asked to get involved.
